After three truly memorable seasons we have to say goodbye to David Goodfield as Head Coach of our M1.
From his first meeting until now David has been a pleasure to work with instilling a real sense of team spirit and camaraderie amongst the Elite Group.
To add to that he has inspired and driven the team to two successive promotions having been Champions of East Conference in 2022/23 and following that up with being crowned Champions of Division 1 South in 2023/24 including a run of 12 wins on the bounce that ultimately laid the foundations to the league title.
With his playing aspirations still very firmly focused on the challenges of the Euro Hockey League it was an unfortunate inevitability that we would become victims of our own collective success and there is no way around the obvious conflict of his existing playing commitments in the Premier League and our coaching needs.
We were able to enjoy a fantastic night of celebrations with David and the squad at the end of season dinner last weekend.
The story doesn't quite end there though as we are delighted to announce that David will remain with the Club as M2 coach as we look to continue to drive the Mens section forwards and support the incoming Head Coach...
