If You Need to Park Locally
Those who have no alternative but to travel by car, are reminded about the CPZ monitored by ANPR cameras on Hartington Road on Saturdays (8am -7pm).
That means anyone wishing to park in the local roads around the sports ground will need to follow the directions in the Saturday information leaflet.
On Saturdays due to the CPZ restrictions and cameras, anyone not able to find a parking space in Hartington Road (or the pay-to-park car park opposite the grounds) will need to head back to the A316 and up to the Fullers roundabout, take a left onto the A4 then left at the lights onto Sutton Court Road and then approach the grounds via Grove Park Bridge (over the railway line) and Bolton Road.
Visitors should ensure they check local parking restrictions before leaving their vehicle. All local spaces will be high in demand, and we cannot guarantee availability in the area. Users should lift share or be dropped off when possible.
The new pedestrian entrance gate on Cavendish Road will be available for users accessing the Sports Ground from local street parking, or for those arriving by train or bus.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
